Delta Group founder Bruce Cheng recently led the company's management executives and representatives to the COP21 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Paris.
This year's COP21 took place on Nov. 30 to Dec. 11.
Delta's active support for the goals of COP21 included talking part in a number of side conferences and exhibitions to share the progress made by Delta in green buildings, energy conservation, and carbon reduction with representatives from around the world.
Delta expanded its involvement in COP21 this year and showcased all of its efforts in energy conservation and green buildings.
Group founder Bruce Cheng said that Delta is fighting against climate change by progressively increasing the efficiency of its power supply products. Delta's high-efficiency products and solutions have helped customers save nearly 14.8 billion kWh of electricity and reduced carbon emissions by about 7.9 million tons of CO2e from 2010 to 2014, exceeding the total annual carbon emissions of some countries.
Delta is also an active supporter of the Commit to Action corporate carbon reduction initiative of the CDP (formerly Carbon Disclosure Project).
Having already reduced its energy use intensity by 50% over the last 5 years, Delta is now committed to a further reduction of 30% by 2020.
