The approaching Fastener Taiwan 2016 joins vast and varied innovations from an industry in constant change. This B2B show unfolds April 11-13 in Kaohsiung; just minutes away from Taiwan’s largest and most dynamic syndicate clusters that churn out the world’s leading share of bolts and nuts, screws, clamps and other fasteners.
The coming show builds upon 2014 when the 3rd Fastener Taiwan (Taiwan Int’l Fastener Show) drew massive industry support. In just two days the show soared to global third in its class by welcoming 2,000 international buyers (10.2%+ on 2012) from over 70 countries and 20,000 domestic visitors to generate an estimated US$400 million in business.
Last year, Taiwan's screw exports grow 10%, reaching US$4.2 billion in value and 1.55 million tons by volume according to the Taiwan Industrial Fasteners Institute. Taiwan is the second-largest exporter of fasteners in the world. Her top five destinations for exports are the prestige market of the US, Germany, the Netherlands, Japan, and the UK. In 2014, Taiwan International Fastener Show attracted buyers from top companies in Germany, France, the US, the Czech Republic, the UK, Japan, the Netherlands, and Italy, including big names like Theo Foerch GmbH & Co. KG, Magna Steyr Shanghai, Wuerth Industrie GmbH & Co. KG, Johnson Controls, and Busch Armaturen spol. s r.o.
The next “Fastener Taiwan” returns at expanded scale with expected 400 exhibitors across 1,000 booths that premiers International and Cross-Strait pavilions. Notable manufacturers and service suppliers exhibiting at the show include Zyh Yin Ent. Co. Ltd., San Shing Fastech Corp., Ying Ming Industry Co., Ltd., Chun Yu Works & Co. Ltd., Taiwan Shan Yin Int.
